PERIOD OF RECKONING SPORTS ACHIEVEMENTS:

• The sports achievements of Current &Previous two Financial Years will be taken into account for eligibility. Therefore, the sports achievements on or after 01.04.2021 will only be considered.

Eligibility Criteria For NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY:

• For GP 1900/2000 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 02/03): The candidate should have minimum qualification of Intermediate or Equivalent Examination passed from any Recognized Board.

(b) For GP 2400/2800 (7th CPC Pay Matrix Level – 04/05): The candidate should minimum qualification of degree or its equivalent. exam passed from recognized university/Institution.

• For Technical Posts candidate shall be passed Act Apprenticeship/ITI.The Certificate of Act Apprenticeship/ITI must be approved by SCVT/NCVT.
• For appointment against sports quota in Technician–III, the minimum educational qualification should be prescribed as 10th pass. However, the training period for such Sports quota appointee will be 3 (three) Years unless they passes ITI qualification in the relevant Trade, in which case it will be 6 months

Age relaxation for NORTH CENTRAL RAILWAY:

• 18 – 25 Years age as of the application deadline for deputation
• The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from the candidates in India
• 18 – 25 years as on 01.01.2024. No age relaxation is permissible.

Mode Of Selection:

• The recruitment will be based on trials and assessment of sports achievements etc. The candidates who are found fit in trials will only be considered for next stage of recruitment process. The recruitment process will be finalized by the HQ office.An application/candidature of a candidate can be rejected at any stage, if found false and Railway will not communicate the reasons whatsoever
