BPSC (Bihar)
The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) is a crucial organization in the Indian state of Bihar that is tasked with finding suitable candidates for a range of government jobs. As per the Government of India Act 1935, as amended, subsection (1) of section 261, the Bihar Public Service Commission was established on 1 April 1949 subsequent to its split from the Commission for the States of Orissa and Madhya Pradesh. With the adoption of the Indian Constitution on January 26, 1950, it was declared to have constitutional validity. Article 315 of the Indian Constitution designates it as a constitutional body.
