Goa PSC
The Goa Public Service Commission, an entity established by the Indian state of Goa's constitution, is in charge of choosing and testing candidates for the civil service. It must be consulted on issues pertaining to the appointment, hiring, transfer, promotion, and disciplinary actions of government employees in Goa. The Union Public Service Commission oversaw civil service recruitment and other service-related issues after Goa was admitted as a Union territory in 1962. Goa was granted the right to establish its own Public Service Commission in 1987 upon its admission as a State of India. On May 30, 1988, the Goa Public Service Commission was established.
