Eligibility Criteria for Haryana Public Service Commission:

ASSISTANT PROFESSORS (all subjects except, Fine Arts and Mass Communication).

• Good academic record with a Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point-scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education.

ASSISTANT PROFESSORS in Fine Arts:

• Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of B in the 7-point scale with letter grades O.A.B.C.D.E and F at the Master’s Degree level in Fine Arts from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from a Foreign University.
• Knowledge of Hindi/Sanskrit up to Matric standard or in Higher Education

ASSISTANT PROFESSORS in Mass Communication:

• Good academic record with at least 55% of the marks or an equivalent grade of Master’s Degree level or an equivalent qualification from an Indian or Foreign University recognized institution in Communication Mass Communication/ Journalism.

Age Limit For HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment:

• Candidate should not be less than 21 years and not more than 42years, as on before the 15 days of the month next preceding the last date of submission of application to the Commission i.e. 15.07.2024.

Mode of Selection For HPSC Assistant Professor Recruitment:

• Selection of candidate/s for appointment to the post shall be based on the performance in Screening Test (wherever applicable), Subject Knowledge Test & Interview/Viva-Voce.
