Eligibility Criteria For IHBAS:
Professor :
- A Medical Qualification included in the I or Il scheduled or Part [l Of the Ill schedule to the IMC Act of 1936.
- A Postgraduate qualification e.g. ML)/ SIS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject.
- M_Ch. for surgical and D.M. for Medical specialities or qualification recognized equivalent thereto. AND Master Degree, in the discipline/ allied subject.
- A Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from recognized University.
Additional Professor :
- Master Degree, in the discipline/ allied subject.
- A Doctorate degree in the concerned discipline from recognized University
Associate Professor :
- A Medical Qualification included in the I or Il scheduled or Part [l Of the Ill schedule to the IMC Act of 1936.
- A Postgraduate qualification e.g. ML)/ SIS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/ subject.

Age relaxation for IHBAS:
- 50 Years of age as of the application deadline for deputation
- The crucial date for determining the age limit shall be the closing date for receipt of applications from the candidates in India
