Eligibility Criteria for INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY PATNA:

• B.S. 4-year programme/Integrated B.S.- M.S./M.Sc./B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE Test60% (or higher) in 10th and 12th . Bachelor’s/Master’s degree level in the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering/Technology, Materials Science/Engineering, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, Metallurgical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering/Technology, Polymer Science/Technology, Ceramic Engineering/Technology, Environmental Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemical and Electrochemical Engineering, Physics and Chemistry. Valid GATE (with paper code CH, XE, CY, MT, PH and PE) or NET Score is required.

Age Limit & Relaxation:

• The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years for B. Tech./B.E. and 32 years for M. Tech./M.E./M.Sc. degree. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PD will be given as per the GOI rules.
