Eligibility Criteria  For NIIST :

Scientist :

• M. Tech in Food Technology/ Agricultural Engineering relating to food. OR PhD (submitted) in Food Technology/ Agriculture Engineering relating to food/Engineering Sciences with specialization in Food.

Sr. Technical Officer :

• M. Sc in Chemistry/Environmental Science or equivalent with minimum 55% marks and 2 years’ practical experience in environmental sampling, analytical method development and quality control.

Age Relaxation for NIIST:

• Age relaxation for reserved category as per Govt. norms.
• 32 -35 years for deputation as on closing date of application
• Upper age limit is relaxable upto five years for the regular employees working in CSIR Laboratories/Institutes, Government Departments, Autonomous Bodies and Public Sector Undertakings.
