Eligibility Criteria for NIEPVD :
Director :
- Post Graduate Degree in Special Education or any other discipline from a recognized University/Institution with 55% marks or equivalent grade with 10 years experience of research or rehabilitation or administration in the field of Disability.
Assistant Professor (PMR) :
- MBBS PG Degree/Diploma in PMR/Paediatrics recognized by MCI/RCI. Registration with MCI
Assistant Professor(Speech &Hearing) :
- Post Graduate Degree (Full Time Course) Speech & Hearing (Recognized by RCI). Registration with RCI.
Assistant Professor (Clinical Psychology) :
- M. Phil in Clinical or Rehabilitation Psychology (Full Time Course)(Recognized by RCI). Registration with RCI.
Lecturer (Physiotherapy) :
- Master’s in Physiotherapy from a recognized Institute (Full Time).
Lecturer (Occupational Therapy) :
- Master’s in Occupational Therapy from a recognized Institute (Full Time).
Prosthetist & Orthotist :
- Degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics from a recognized Institute.
Clinical Assistant (Speech Therapist) :
- B.Sc.(S.&Hg.) equivalent
Clinical Assistant (Developmental Therapist) :
- Post Graduate Diploma in Early Intervention (PGDEI) / Bachelor in Occupational Therapist (BOT)/ Bachelor in Rehabilitation Science/B.Ed. Special Education in Intellectual Disabilities (ID)/Specific Learning Disability(SLD)/Autism Spectrum Disorder(ASD)/BRS(MR)/BMR/BRT/PGDDT
Orientation & Mobility Instructor :
- Graduation with Diploma/B.Ed./PG Diploma in Special Education or equivalent.
Special Educator :
- Graduation with Diploma/B.Ed./PG Diploma in Special Education or equivalent
Vocational Instructor :
- Higher Secondary with Diploma in Vocational Training/D.Ed/B.Ed./PG Diploma in Special Education/Equivalent course recognized by RCI
Workshop Supervisor :
- 10+2 or equivalent qualification. Diploma/Certificate in Prosthetics & Orthotics.
Age relaxation for NIEPVD:
- Maximum age of 56 -62 years.
- Age relaxation for reserved category as per Govt. norms
Mode Of Selection:
- Based on written tests, skill tests, interview and Presentation
