Educational Qualification for SECR Recruitment:
- Must have Passed 10th class examination under 10+2 system of education or its equivalent with minimum 50% (aggregate) marks.
- Must have passed ITI course in relevant trade from a Recognized Institution.
Note:
The candidates should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of Notification. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and candidates whose result of qualifying examination awaited are not eligible.
Period of Apprentice Training and Stipend:
Selected candidates will be engaged as apprentices and they will undergo apprenticeship training for a period 1 year for each trade. They will be paid stipend during their training as per the rules of Railway Board. Their training will be terminated after the completion of their apprenticeship.
Age relaxation for South East Central Railway:
- The candidates Minimum age limit is 15 years and Maximum age limit is 24 years as on 02-04-2024.
- The upper age limit is relaxable by 05 years for SC/ST candidates ,03 years for OBC and 10 years for Ex- servicemen and PWBD.
